We'd like to inform you of changes to our Sunday morning schedule starting July 3. Leaving us will be The Rhythm Retrospective, hosted by Carl Sonny Leyland. It was Carl's decision to discontinue his show and we thank him for his many years on-air here at JAZZ 91. We also are putting I'm Talking Jazz on hiatus.

Starting on Sunday July 3 we kick off with Clint Baker and The Breakfast Dance & BBQ at 6am. At 7am we introduce Juke In The Back with Matt "The Cat" Baldassari, a show that presents 1950s rhythm and blues. It also will air at 10pm Sundays too. Richard Hadlock's Annals of Jazz stays at 8am, and at 9am, the internationally recognized pianist and radio host, Judy Carmichael, joins us with her acclaimed Jazz Inspired radio show, a program with insightful interviews and live performances. We believe you will dig our new Sunday morning line-up, so check it out and thank you for listening to JAZZ 91, jazz station to the world.

We have reconfigured our Sunday programming schedule as well. For the Sunday morning timeslots we have grouped together four of our most in-depth programs examining Jazz music. The shows span all the eras with unique and insightful historical perspectives.

  • 6AM: Breakfast, Dance, & BBQ with Host, Clint Baker.
  • 7AM: Juke In The Back with Host Matt "The Cat" Baldassari (Note: an Encore Presentation of this show airs Sundays at 10pm)
  • 8AM: The Annals of Jazz with Host Richard Hadlock
  • 9AM: Jazz Inspired with Host Judy Carmichael

A great array of program filled with jazz education and entertainment!
