On part 2 of Like A Dry Martini: Paul Desmond @ 100 we continue our celebration of his centennial. Paul was born in San Francisco on Nov. 25, 1924, and died in NYC on May 30, 1977. We’ll be hearing Desmond with Gerry Mulligan, and with Jim Hall. And we’ll be featuring several of Desmond’s compositions. We’ll also hear a live version of his blockbuster hit song “Take Five”.
