Jazz Appreciation Celebration (April)
In 2001 the National Museum of American History designated April as Jazz Appreciation Month (fondly known as "JAM") to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary heritage and history of jazz. The KCSM celebration is open to the community who are invited for live jazz by both young and seasoned pros. Light refreshments are served.

Jazz On The Hill (June)
As a thank you to our listening community, on the first Saturday in June KCSM hosts a full day of live jazz on the beautiful College of San Mateo campus. This outdoor festival, open to the community showcases young local musicians who play alongside seasoned professionals presenting jazz in all its flavors: jazz, blues and Latin music. Holiday Open House (December)
To end the year in musical style, KCSM hosts an afternoon where our studios are open to the public. Tours, live jazz and refreshments are the start to your holiday party season!
