
SAN MATEO, CA -Talented Bay Area high school students broadcast their movies on "Spotlight!" . a locally produced 13-part series in its second season on KCSM-TV.
Each "Spotlight!" episode showcases the work of two young film-makers and features an in-depth interview with a prominent industry professional. Students get insider tips and insights from Producer Brad Lewis, Sound Designer Andrea Gard, Animation Supervisor Webster Colcord, Location Manager Rory Enke and Screenwriter Terrel Seltzer.
"Spotlight"! is a smart, important series," says host Angie Coiro. "Movies are one of my greatest passions, and it's intriguing to meet the new generation of film-makers. Viewers will be surprised and impressed with what we learn from them."
"Spotlight!" will air every Sunday at 6:30 p.m. beginning October 18, 2009 on KCSM-TV.
Bay Area viewers have the unique opportunity to view the work of local high school Producers and Directors before their Hollywood careers are established.
