    Hershey Felder (2017)

Hailing from Montréal, Québec, Canada, Hershey Felder is a true polymath. A few years ago, American Theater magazine called him a one-man cottage industry: he's an actor, playwright, composer, producer and director.

In his one-man shows, Hershey has embodied Beethoven, Chopin, Bernstein, Gershwin and Berlin. It's always an unforgettable journey.

Hershey's own journey took him through the Yiddish theater to Los Angeles in 1994, where he spent a brief time working for Stephen Spielberg's USC Shoah Foundation Interviewing Holocaust survivors for their oral histories. This led to an invitation to be part of the program for the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, which itself led to his creation of "George Gershwin Alone."

In 1996, Hershey was asked to present a concert in Los Angeles honoring Kim Campbell, Canada's only female prime minister. As they say, it was love at first sight. The couple now divide their time between Europe and North America, all the time continuing their individual creative projects.
