| Dana Leong (2007) | |
|---|---|
| Dana Leong is a double threat on cello and trombone. Born and raised right here in the San Francisco Bay Area, he's made his home in New York City for a decade, since enrolling at the Manhattan School of Music in the late '90s.
Since graduating (and even during his studies), he's been seen in musical settings of every genre, such as jazz, classical and rap, and in visual settings such as fashion shows and on TV and movie screens. Of late he's been part of two Grammy-nominated groups, Paquito D’Rivera's Jazz Chamber Trio (where Dana now fills a chair frequented by Yo-Yo Ma), and Dafnis Prieto's Absolute Quintet. |
