| JOHN L. WORLEY JR. is a trumpet / flugelhorn player, composer and jazz educator and has been a member in many of the Bay Area’s creative music ensembles. He is also the owner of Dancing Sumo Records. John has been a mainstay on the Bay Area jazz scene for almost a quarter century, a consummate sideman who has played everything from swing, bebop and free jazz to R&B, funk and Afro-Caribbean dance music.
