SJW’s Early Registration Discount Ends Soon

Laura Thorne | March 12th, 2010

Attention prospective Stanford Jazz Workshop participants: Stanford Jazz Workshop’s Early Registration Discount for our summer jazz programs, Jazz Camp and Jazz Residency, ends this Monday March 15.

In addition, scholarship applications for Jazz Camp & Jazz Residency are due on the 15th as well. An average of $80,000 in need-based scholarship aid is distributed to participants under 18 every year, so we encourage anyone who thinks they may qualify to apply. Scholarship and enrollment applications are on the SJW site at http://www.stanfordjazz.org/education/forms.html (or register online at https://stanfordjazz.org/Registration/10/).

Also, if you are a jazz musician between the ages of 18 and 25, you may be interested in SJW’s Jazz Mentors program, designed to provide teacher training and professional mentorship to emerging professional jazz musicians who wish to gain teaching experience.  The application deadline for the Jazz Mentors program is also this Monday the 15th (more information may be found at http://stanfordjazz.org/education/mentors.html).
